About Avanti Feeds Ltd
Furthermore, the company has acquired 25.88 % stake in Patikari Power Private Limited Himachal Pradesh and 49.99% stake in Srivathsa Power Projects Pvt. Ltd. in 2014-15.It reportedly crossed 1000 crores turnover mark and closed the year with turnover of Rs. 1131.61 crores.
The company has entered into a technical and marketing collaboration agreement with M/s Thai Union Feed Mill Co. Limited of Thailand and set up a new 50000 MT per annum Shrimp Manufacturing Facility at the existing plant in Kovvur (West Godavari Dist., Andhra Pradesh). They reported 341660 MT sales of shrimp feed during 2016-17, recording an increase of 35 in volume and Shrimp Processing & Export Division registered an export of 5155 MT in 2017-18, representing an increase of 18%.
AFFPL issued 4006667 shares to Thai Union Group PCL TUG of Thailand and the new Feed Plant at Bandapuram West Godavari District (Andhra Pradesh), commenced production from August 2016. It also subdivided one equity share of Rs.10/ each into five equity shares of Rs.2/ each. AFFPL completed the implementation of a 15000 MTA capacity Shrimp Processing Plant at Yerravaram (East Godavari District) with a Capital Expenditure of Rs. 12159.38 Lakhs and started operations from 31 August 2017. The power generated from Four Windmills of the company located in Karnataka was sold to Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). The company expanded its Hatchery division with a capacity of 600 million in 2020-21.
