Established in 1910, ITC Limited is the largest cigarette manufacturer in India. The company was initially incorporated as Imperial Tobacco Company of India Limited, and later in 1974, renamed to I.T.C. Limited. Further, in September 2001, the full stops in its name were removed and recognized as ITC Limited.
ITC operates in five business segments at present, including FMCG Cigarettes, FMCG Others, Hotels, Paperboards, Paper and Packaging, and Agri Business. The company’s product portfolio includes cigarette brands like Gold Flake and Classic, along with FMCG products such as Aashirvaad, Sunfeast, and Bingo.
