About Reliance Home Finance Ltd

Reliance Home Finance Limited (RHFL), incorporated in June 2008, is a subsidiary of Reliance Capital Limited (Rcap). RHFL is registered with National Housing Bank and provides home loans, affordable housing loans, loans against property, and construction finance loans. During FY2017, the company's gross income grew by 40% and Asset Under Management (AUM) increased from Rs 7,358 crore to Rs 11,174 crore. Further, RHFL went through a demerger from Rcap from 5th March 2020. During FY2018, AUM grew 47% to Rs 16,379 crore and the total income was Rs 1,671 crore, up 46% from the previous year. During the same time, networth increased to Rs 1,744 crore, up 69%. During FY2019, AUM increased 15% to Rs 18,868 crore and total income by 19% to Rs 2,002.59 crore. As of 31st March 2019, networth of the company stood at Rs 1,799.93 crore. During FY2020, AUM declined 28% to Rs 14,713 crore and total income was Rs 1,602.91 crore. Networth of the company stood at Rs 1,444.58 crore at the end of FY2020. The company has raised Rs 124 crore during the FY2019 by issuance of commercial paper. As a result of debt servicing standstill directed by the lead bank, the company has defaulted on the payment of interest/principal on NCDs, loans and other borrowings.
