About NOCIL Ltd

NOCIL Limited is India's largest manufacturer and supplier of rubber chemicals and is a part of the renowned Arvind Mafatlal Group of Industries. The company has manufacturing plants in Navi Mumbai and Dahej, Gujarat and offers range of products like PILflex, PILnox, PILcure, PILGarD, mostly used by tyre and rubber processing industries. NOCIL was formed in 1961 and since then has seen a series of collaborations, mergers and takeovers which resulted in an increased market share and presence in the global rubber chemical industry. During the years 2017-2019, NOCIL approved a capital expenditure of Rs. 170 crore, and commissioned expansions plans at Navi Mumbai and Dahej by the end of 2018 and 2019 respectively. NOCIL then acquired the entire shareholding of a subsidiary, PIL Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., and changed its name from National Organic Chemical Industries Ltd in 2007. In 2020, upon recommendation of its Audit Committee, NOCIL approved a draft scheme to amalgamate two Promoter Group companies Suremi Trading and Sushripada Investments with NOCIL and invested Rs. 450 crores as Capex cycle spread over three years to further strengthen its presence in the industry.
