About Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd

K G Khosla Compressors Ltd. was incorporated in 1974 as Khosla Compressors before changing its name to K G Khosla Compressors in 1976. Owned by the Kirloskar group of companies, the company manufactures high pressure compressors, air and gas compressors, refrigeration compressors, hydraulic press, vacuum pumps, and grey iron castings used by steel plants, fertiliser plants and general engineering industry worldwide. Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd. acquired additional 205,100 equity shares pursuant to SEBI authorities in 1998-99, and the company merged with Kirloskar Pneumatic Company the following year. The company experienced industrial unrest in 1991-92, and a revival plan was implemented in 1994. Since then, K G Khosla Compressors has improved its technology for gas compressors in concert with IHI Limited Japan, and tied up with KOBELCO for dry screw compressors, both increasing business potential. Furthermore, in 1999-2000, K G Khosla Compressors took over the air compressors business of Kirloskar Pneumatic Co. Ltd. and entered into a license agreement with Kirloskar Proprietory Ltd. to use their brand name. This agreement will help to promote company products in the market.
