About Kimia Biosciences Ltd

Founded in September 1993, Laurel Organics (formerly Dolphin Organics) is a bulk drug manufacturer located in Gurgaon, Haryana. Promoted by A K Bansal, K S Varma, Atul Sharma, A P Godiyal, D K Gupta, and R K Bansal, the project cost of the manufacture was Rs 10.41 crore, of which part was funded by a public issue in February 1995. Commercial production started in May 1995. However, due to the difficulties faced by the company, they have become a sick industrial unit during the 1998-1999 year. With the aim to efficiently run the plant again, the company proposes that the required assistance be provided by the financial institutions. They also plan for revival of the operations to its normal capacity before March 1999.
