About Krebs Biochemicals & Industries Ltd

Krebs Biochemicals Industries Ltd. (KBIL) is a fermentation-based active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturer. Established in 1991, KBL has grown to a capacity of 150 TPA since launching its commercial operations in 1994. KBL has developed global capabilities in fermentation technology, resulting in successful launches over a two-year period (200102) of Vitamin CIP Grade via fermentation. The company has ISO 9002 certifications for its unit I at Nellore and produces and markets Lovastatin, Simvastatin, and Vitamin C. KBL is also in the process of building a cogeneration power plant at unit II. It has also successfully bidded for Nannapaneni Venkatrao Cooperative Sugars Ltd located at Jampani, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh in December 2003.
