About V R Woodart Ltd

VR Woodart, a Kerala-based public limited company, was established in February 1989 and later changed its name in May 1998. It is a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) that manufactures and exports high-quality treated finger jointed glue laminated boards. In 1992, it added several products to its product line to broaden its scope and widen its business operations. The company raised financial resources for this project by issuing a public issue in October 1992. Despite the increased turnover of Rs. 140.40 lacs in the financial year 1999-2000, the company is still facing financial problems due to lack of working capital. To overcome this situation, the company issued partially convertible debentures worth Rs. 495.23 lacs. With its high-quality products and commendable efforts to address the financial crisis, VR Woodart has become a renowned name in the industry.
