About Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd

Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a leading Pigment Industry manufacturer in India, with two facilities located in Maharashtra, offering an extensive range of Organic, Inorganic and Effect Pigments along with Agro Chemicals, for Coatings, Plastics, Inks, and Cosmetics industries worldwide. The company, established in 1951, has branches in The Netherlands, Mexico, and China and have been certified with ISO 9001, 14000 as well as receiving the prestigious ISO 9001 re-certification. During 2017, the company has divested its Agro Formulation Brand Business and completed the divestment of its Industrial Mixing Solutions Division on 26th April 2019 to GMM Pfaudler Limited, for an Enterprise Value of approx. Rs. 29 Crores. In addition, Sudarshan Japan Limited, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the company was established in Japan in 2019. During Fiscal Year 2020, the company has invested Rs. 227 Crore in projects to expand their operations and for the production capacities of Roha and Mahad sites. However, operations were shut down following the Covid-19 pandemic from March 2020 and have now resumed with directives from the Government.
