About SEL Manufacturing Company Ltd

SEL Manufacturing Company Ltd was incorporated in 2000, as part of the R S Saluja Group, a manufacturing business that has been in operation for over 35 years. It is a multi-product textile company with vertically integrated production facilities in Ludhiana (Punjab) and Baddi (Himachal Pradesh). Their core activities are cotton spinning, knit fabrics and clothing, with a total operating capacity of 6 million garments per year, 49,056 spindles, 11,088 tons of yarn, 4,050 tons of fabric knitting and 3,000 tons of fabric processing and dyeing.
The company has opened representative offices in Russia and Dubai to target these export markets, with the majority of garments exported to Russia and U.A.E. In 2005, the firm established another partnership venture, S E Exports, with two promoters for the manufacture of value added knitted garments. Merger transactions in 2004 and 2006 took place with Saluja Processors Private Ltd and Saluja Fabrics Ltd, and Utkarsh Apparels respectively. This bought additional land, buildings and garmenting machines, helping to increase the company’s resources and productivity.
