Prakash Woollen & Synthetic Mill Limited was incorporated in India in the year 1979. In the year 2013-14, the company issued 3,66,99,50 equity shares and 1,50,000 warrants on preferential basis. During the same year, 1,50,000 warrants were converted into equity shares. The company has changed its name from Prakash Woollen Mill Limited to Prakash Woollen & Synthetic Mill Limited in 2015, altering the object clause in the Memorandum of Association. 9,13,900 equity shares were reissued and allowed to trade since 23rd June 2015. The company only operates in one segment and its major activities include production of Mink Blankets and Bed covers.
