About JM Financial Ltd

JM Financial Limited, incorporated in 1986, is a diversified financial services group offering a wide range of capital market services including equity and debt capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance advisory, business and administration management as well as management of private equity funds. Headquartered in Mumbai, it has a presence across 634 locations in 185 Indian cities and 4 international locations. During the year 2001, it repaid part of its unsecured loans to its promoters with the ultimate objective of bringing down the borrowing and becoming a 'Zero Debt Company'. In 2006, it launched a corporate private equity fund with a US based investor and in the same year, it amalgamated 'J.M. Securities Private Limited' with it. In 2008, it acquired JM Financial ASK Securities Private Limited and opened a branch in Vizag. In 2010, it entered into a strategic cooperation with Rand Merchant Bank to provide MA advisory services to Indian and African corporates. JM Financial Ltd received a capital investment of Rs 540 crore from a global fund in 2014 and in the same year, it allotted 1.16 crore equity shares to a NRi investor. In 2015, it entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Seabury Corporate Finance and in 2016, they acquired equity shares of Fairassets Technologies India Private Limited and also of India Home Loan Limited. In 2017, JM Financial Asset Management completed the buyback of 9.95 of its outstanding equity and in 2018; they raised Rs 770 crore through a QIP issue. During FY 2018-19, the Company mobilised more than Rs 4000 crore in corporate fixed deposits and bonds and over Rs 1200 crore in mutual fund schemes and also introduced Elite Wealth Management Group. They raised Rs. 387 crore through a public issue of secured rated listed redeemable NCD’s in April 2019 and also made an Investment of Rs. 350 million in Walko Food Company in June 2021. As on March 31 2022 they had 15 subsidiaries, a partnership firm and an associate company with a AUM of Rs. 61211 crore.
