IIFL Wealth Management Ltd (IIFLW) is a financial services company offering wealth and asset management services such as financial asset distribution, broking, lending, credit, investment solutions and asset and portfolio management. It was incorporated as a Public Limited Company in 2008 and since then has been actively involved in acquiring various subsidiaries and companies to expand its business. In 2009, the Company opened international offices in the UAE, Singapore and Mauritius marking a global footprint. Following this, it further acquired Finest Wealth Managers-Rs 1700 crores AUM in 2011, reaching a total AUM of Rs 25,000 crores in 2012. In 2013, IIFL Wealth acquired a Private Equity Firm and launched its successful Fee-based Alternative Investment Fund becoming 'No. 1 Manager in India'. In 2016, it acquired an NBFC injecting Rs 900 crore capital and renaming it IIFL Wealth Finance Ltd.. In 2017, it raised Rs 7500 crores in its Pre-IPO fund. In 2019 it established stakes with 5 reputed marquee investors and in 2020 it acquired LT Capital Markets. Its consolidated AUM including custody assets stood at Rs160034 crores as of 31 March 2020. IIFL Wealth also allotted 2659718 equity shares in 2020. The Board of Directors of IIFL had also approved a Composite Scheme of Arrangement in 2018 which had come into effect in 2019. Through this scheme, IIFL Wealth Business was delegated as a separate listed entity. Thus, since its inception the Company has opened various avenues to expand its business and today stands as a leading financial services provider with total assets now under management including custody assets standing at Rs 246083.
