About Jayshree Chemicals Ltd

Jayshree Chemicals Ltd (JCL) is a widely held public limited company which was incorporated in April 1962 in the state of West Bengal. JCL has its registered office in Ganjam District Orissa and corporate office in Kolkata. The company's equity shares are listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. JCL operates a manufacturing unit to produce Caustic Soda Liquid Chlorine and Hydrochloric Acid in Ganjam District, Orissa, on a 125 acre land with an installed capacity of 22500 MTPA, 15500 MTPA and 20000 MTPA respectively. It was originally promoted by the Bangur Brothers in Orissa and Shri S. K. Bangur later acquired the controlling stake in the company. JCL has been manufacturing caustic soda, chlorine and hydrochloric acid since 1967.
