About Jagan Lamps Ltd

Jagan LiTech LampsJLL was established in 1993 with a plant set up cost of Rs.7.85 crores. In collaboration with LiTech Corporation of South Korea, the firm produced automobile H4 type halogen lamps with 9% equity, where LiTech provided machinery and raw materials and would buy 75% of output for a period of five years. The remaining 25% was sold in the domestic market. In 1995, the company tapped primary markets to finance the project, and then changed its name to Jagan Lamps in 1998. In the year 2000-01, it launched a new concept in bulbs which illuminated Super white LightXemonGoldGreen types of Lights, catered for New Generation drivers. The bulbs offered technical superiority, which resulted in a good demand in the market.
