About Rane Brake Lining Ltd

Rane Brake Linings Ltd is a leading India-based manufacturer and marketer of auto components used by the transportation industry. Their friction material products such as brake linings, clutch facings, clutch buttons, disc pads, brake shoes and railway brake blocks are all safety critical and in demand globally. The company has four manufacturing facilities located in Chennai, Hyderabad, Puducherry and Trichy, with the one in Puducherry being an Asbestos Free Facility. Rane Brake Linings Ltd was incorporated in December 2004 and in the following years they went through multiple name changes and received numerous contracts from Europe, UK and the Middle East. They also experienced increases in production capacity and eventually listed their shares in the National Stock Exchange Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd and Madras Stock Exchange Ltd in 2007. In 201617, they commissioned 2 MW of solar power and further increased production capacity in 200910. By 202122, they had created their own renewable energy of 3.2 MW.
