About Hindusthan Urban Infrastructure Ltd

Hindusthan Urban Infrastructure Limited, incorporated in October 1959, is engaged mainly in manufacturing and selling electrical conductor insulator products and also involved in wind power and investing activities. In 2014, the company diversified its business to new verticals of infrastructure and it's existing subsidiary - Hindusthan Speciality Chemicals Limited - became wholly owned by the company in 2013. During 2013-14 and 2014-15, the company successfully executed export orders worth Rs. 125.22 Crores and Rs. 374.27 Crores respectively. In 2015-16, the company gave its consent for recommending its securities listed with Delhi Stock Exchange to the Dissemination Board of BSE Limited. In the same year, Hindusthan Vidyut Products Limited and Hindusthan Projects Limited, two non-material wholly owned subsidiaries, were incorporated. In 2016-17, Hindusthan Speciality Chemicals Limited became a material subsidiary of the company. During 2017-18, the company aimed to increase sales, expand its product range and target regional export markets. The equity shares of the company were listed with effect from July 14, 2016 and Rs. 58.752 Crores were paid as equity capital by the company to Hindusthan Speciality Chemicals Limited till March 31, 2017. The Faridabad Property was also treated as a separate Real Estate segment in the same year.
