About Hindustan Tin Works Ltd

Hindustan Tin Works (HTW) is a leader in its industry with major clients such as Nestle India, Heinz India, Brooke Bond Lipton, Dalmia Industries, Indian Oil Corporation, HPCL, and Asian Paints. HTW has undertaken expansion-modernization efforts to increase production capacity from 6,500 tons/annum to 16,754 tons/annum by adding an additional unit in Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh. Further, a printing project and a sophisticated plant in Murthal, Sonepat, Haryana to manufacture a range of different diameters was acquired in 1995 and 1996 respectively. Additionally the company was awarded an Export Excellence Award by EEPC in recognition of its export initiatives. 27,343 equity shares of HTW were issued in 1996 after a merger with Conwel Cans India while in 1998, efforts were taken to improve machinery quality and speed.
