About HCP Plastene Bulkpack Ltd

HCP Plastene Bulkpack Limited (HPBL), formerly known as Gopala Polyplast Limited, is a renowned Indian plastics and technical textile packaging company. Established in 1984, it is now part of Plastene Group PIL, which specializes in FIBCs and small bags exports, primarily to EU and US. With a product portfolio including Woven Sacks, Woven Fabric, A-D Star Bags, BOPP-Laminated Bags, LLDPE-LDPE Liner, and woven label, the company offers a wide range of options. In 1994, HPBL went public with its maiden public issue and added Garment Accessories to its product portfolio. In 2001, the company added manufacturing of Woven Bags to its offerings. In 2017 and 2021, the company established two new products, Reverse Laminated BOPP Bag and Block Bottom Bag, respectively. Subsidiary K.P. Woven Private Limited also started commercial production in April 2022. With an installed capacity of 489 TPA of Woven Fabrics, HPBL has successfully streamlined its operations within six months of acquiring control.
