About Gujarat Apollo Industries Ltd

Apollo Earthmovers Pvt Ltd and Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation (GIIC) have been promoting Gujarat Apollo Equipments since 1987. They started production in Gujarat by producing road construction and maintaining machinery with a technical collaboration with Barber Greene Company from the US. In 1992 GIIC disinvested its 11% share to Apollo Earthmovers. GAEL expanded its product line in 1994 by launching a public issue to produce road milling machines, batch mix plants, water purification systems, electronic components and printed circuit boards. They will also manufacture the latest version of atlas wheeled loaders for the Indian market from 2021. In 1997 they completed a joint venture with FamaroErmont, a major European player in asphalt plants and related equipment. They were awarded ISO 9001 certification in 2000 and tied up with Niigata Engineering Company Limited from Japan to manufacture 60-125TPH plants.
