About Datamatics Global Services Ltd

Datamatics Technologies Limited (DTL), established by Dr. Lalit S Kanodia and Mrs. Asha S Kanodia, is an international consultant and IT-enabled services provider. The company gets around 49% of its business from the top five clients, specifically Cadmus, the leader in US scientific technical and medical publishing business with 35% market share. In June 2003, a joint venture called KGL between DTL and Cadmus was formed, in which DTL has a 20% stake. With the transition process already on a monthly basis, by FY 2005, the contribution of Cadmus to DTL's consolidated sales is expected to decrease to 8-10%. In April 2004, the company had come out with an Initial Public Offering of 10.3 million equity shares, post issue, the promoters stake will fall from 92.83% to 68.95%. eServe International is the only comparable firm engaged in similar activities. An analysis of DTL reveals that they are much smaller in size and have a less assured business model.
