About Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Ltd

Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Limited formerly known as Tube Investments of India Limited (TI), incorporated in 1949, is a part of the Murugappa Group and offers a vast range of financial products and services to individual and corporate customers through its group companies. TI Financial Holdings Limited started as TI Cycles of India in 1949 through a collaboration with Tube Investments Ltd. from the UK. Over the years the company acquired and invested in various entities including Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company, Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company, Cholamandalam MS Risk Services Limited, Tube Products of India, and many more. In July 2017, the company's manufacturing activities shifted to Tube Investments of India Limited, after which it changed its name to Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Limited in 2019. Last year, Cholamandalam acquired Payswiff Technologies Private Limited, invested in Paytail Commerce private Limited, and expanded its business into consumer and small enterprise loans, secured business and personal loans, and small and medium enterprise loans. With 22 branches in 2017, the company now operates in 34 branches.
