About Chembond Material Technologies Ltd

Chembond Chemicals Limited is an India-based business that specializes in the manufacturing of specialty chemicals, construction chemicals, and coatings. It is a BSE-listed business with sales of over Rs. 250 crore and 700 employees. Chembond has joint ventures with global companies Henkel Germany and Ashland USA to manufacture metal treatment chemicals and water treatment chemicals, respectively. It is the market leader in these products in India with sales to the automotive, steel, petrochemical, power, appliance engineering, fertilizer and pharmaceutical industries. Chembond has well-equipped multifunctional plants located in Tarapur, Maharashtra, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, Dudhwada, Gujarat, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and Balasore, Orissa, as well as warehouses and branch offices in several Indian cities. In 2010, it acquired Protochem Industries Pvt. Ltd and signed a joint venture with H2O Innovation Inc. and opened several new plants. H2O Innovation India Limited further opened a manufacturing plant in 2011.
