About Centrum Capital Ltd

Centrum Capital Limited (CCL), incorporated in 1997, is a leading financial services group in India offering a complete gamut of financial services from Equity Capital Markets, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, Project Financing and Stressed Asset Resolution to Trading of Bonds. In its journey of over two decades, CCL has established 17 subsidiaries, 2 joint ventures and one associate company and is backed by 12 million High Net Worth Individuals and retail investors. In Financial Year 2015-16, CCL raised Rs. 4998 crore by way of issue of unlisted unrated redeemable debentures exchangeable with equity shares, divested 32.5 equity stake in BuyForex and divested entire stake in Money Exchange Business to US-based technology firm EBIX Inc. For strategic reasons CCL restructured its group structure, acquired 100 equity stake in Centrum Microcredit Private Limited & Centrum Securities Private Limited and began operations in Microfinance, Insurance Broking, Asset Management, Real Estate Management & Advisory and Centrum Alternatives LLP. In the Asiamoney Private Banking Poll 2016, Centrum Wealth Management was named Best Domestic Private Bank in India. CCL equity shares were admitted for listing at National Stock Exchange of India Limited on 4th April 2018. During the financial year 2018, the Company raised an amount of Rs. 13292 Lakhs in multiple tranches through private placement and divested the entire investment held in CentrumDirect Limited, a stepdown material subsidiary of the Company to Ebix Inc., USA.
