About Central Bank of India

Central Bank of India is one of the oldest and largest banking institutions in India, which provides financial products and services like deposits, lending, investments, insurance, mutual funds, etc. It has branches in 35 States and Union Territories in India. The Bank is divided into three major divisions - retail, agriculture, and corporate - offering their respective services. It also issues traveller's cheques and gift cheques. Central Bank of India was nationalized in 1969 and renamed as such. Over the years, it has launched various initiatives and products, such as loan schemes, ATM services, mutual fund products, agency agreements with other companies, etc. It also rolled out over 400 ATMs in 2008 and has been consistently been increasing its network. As of March 31st 2022, Bank has a network of 4528 branches, 2976 ATMs, 10 satellite offices, and 1 Extension Counter spread across the country.
