About Zenith Exports Ltd

Zenith Export ZEL, established in 1981, is a family business led by chairman Bilas Rai Loyalka and managing director Raj Kumar Loyalka. It manufactures and exports industrial leather handgloves and handloom silk fabrics, as well as silk madeups, and works with many silk weavers in and around Bhagalpur, Varanasi and Bangalore. To finance a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) to manufacture natural silk fabric and diversify with a spinning unit, the company went public in April 1995 at a premium of Rs 180. Both units were commissioned in the second half of 1995. To bolster its competitiveness in the international market, the Silk Weaving unit at Nanjangud is devising new designs to capture better results.
