About Syngene International Ltd

Syngene International Limited is a India-based research, development, and manufacturing services organization driven by a team of 5200 scientists. It focuses primarily on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, and also provides services for nutrition, animal health, consumer goods, and other chemical sectors. The company’s health-related services extends across all major therapy areas and modalities. The operations are spread across 2 million sq. ft. with facilities at Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mangalore. Syngene International Limited was incorporated in 1993 and consistently has entered into partnerships for research and development. This helped Syngene International cross an annual turnover of Rs 1000 crore in the year 2016. Over the years leading up to 2021, Syngene International expanded its research collaboration with companies such as Abbott, Bristol Myers Squibb, Herbalife, and Glaxo Smith Kline. It also commissioned new facilities and added bioreactors and microbial manufacturing capacity to strengthen biologics manufacturing. With investments in R&D and strengthening scientific capabilities, Syngene International continues to provide integrated drug discovery services.
