With over 20000 individuals trained in 26 countries, and partnerships with over 500 commercial and non-profit organisations, SMR is a leader in trainer training qualifications and is a member of the Interactive Multimedia Association. To acquire the software development company, SMR Universal Softech launched a public issue of 5 million equity shares of Rs 10 each in April 2001. The money raised from this will be used to set up software development facilities in Madras, Gurgaon, USA, Kuala Lumpur, e-commerce and business-to-business solutions nation-wide.
