About Rishi Techtex Ltd

Rishi Packers was established in 1984 with products ranging from HDPE/PP Woven Sacks to the Kraft Paper lined HDPE/PP multiwall bags that increase the barrier properties of the material. In an effort to part-finance expansion initiatives, the company issued a 1:2 rights issue in June 1994 for a premium of Rs 20. Additionally, a new project was proposed in 1995–96 for an increase in multiwall bags by 16 million pa and one for the production of Raschel Bags was setup with an EOU unit. Over the following years, the company successfully implemented the new projects while also modernising operations with the addition of two tape lines and 30 looms in Dadra. To aid further expansion, 600,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each were issued at a premium of Rs 5 per share. In 200001, the company recorded a 9.5% growth in total turnover to Rs.2978.79 lakhs. Despite an increase in revenue, the PBT dropped due to erosion of margins in the industry.
