About Rama Vision Ltd

Rama Vision Ltd is a joint venture company promoted by Satish Jain and his Associates in association with Hiltron, a governmental company in UP. The company manufactures Black and White picture tubes and monochrome computer monitors and also trades Baby Care and Mother Care products. The Kichha, Uttaranchal based plant has an install capacity of 2.0 million pieces per annum. The plant is fitted with machineries imported from Taiwan and exports its products to ASEAN countries, along with having a good share in the domestic market. It carries various quality/safety certificates such as VDE Germany's S mark, from the Department of Electronics. The company is engaged in exploring new possibilities for diversification and plans to explore the domestic and international market for increasing its market share. Unfortunately, Rama Vision was declared sick by BIFR (Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction) in 2001, through its order appointing IFCI as the managing agency to carry out examination of its viability. The rehabilitation package is pending finalisation and approval.
