About Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd

Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Health Care Limited (PGHHCL) is a leading manufacturer and seller of packaged fast moving consumer goods in the femcare and healthcare sector. Established as Richardson Hindustan Limited in 1964, it became an affiliate of The Procter & Gamble Company, USA in 1985 and changed its name in 1999. The company has two manufacturing locations at Goa and Baddi in Himachal Pradesh and numerous third-party manufacturing partners located across India. Since its inception, PGHHCL has launched innovative and breakthrough products such as Vicks, Ariel detergent, Whisper, Mediker shampoo, Vicks Action 500 and Vicks VapoRub. The company has won the Bronze Lion Award from Cannes International Advertising Festival for its successful development of the Whisper brand. PGHHCL has also forged a Public Private Partnership with the National Rural Health Mission Rajasthan aiming to provide affordable sanitary products for women in Rajasthan. Furthermore, the company has celebrated strong results in Fiscal Year 2017-18 with the launch of its special product Vicks BabyRub and the declaration of special interim dividend of Rs 362 per share.
