Pritish Nandy Communications Pvt Ltd (PNCL) was established by Pritish Nandy, journalist, editor and TV host, in September 93 and was converted into a public company in March 2000. PNCL is engaged with production, development, marketing and exhibition of different TV shows such as lifestyle, environment, comedy and soap operas in multiple languages. With their skills in media and entertainment, the company has further expanded to Internet business. During the fiscal year of 2001, PNCL raised a sum of Rs.4056 lakhs through IPO, out of which Rs.3630 lakhs have been used for content and other purposes disclosed in the prospectus till March 2003.
