About New Delhi Television Ltd

New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV) is a media and broadcasting company founded in 1988. Home to India's brightest reporters, anchors and producers, it holds 23 offices and studios that offer modern production and news gathering facilities. NDTV produces non-news programs and live Union Budget coverage, and also got to partner with Star/NTVI, BBC India, STAR News, and MSNBC. It became an independent news broadcaster in 2004. It also made a partnership with Karan Johar and Dharma Productions, and Genpact and WorldSpace to increase its visibility. In 2007 and 2008 NDTV established ties with NBC Universal and started its first city specific channel. These strategic partnerships have been instrumental to the success and further reach of NDTV.
