About NBCC
NBCC (India) Limited was incorporated in 1960 as a private limited company as 'National Buildings Construction Corporation Private Limited’. It was established primarily to execute civil engineering projects and infrastructure development. The company got recognized as a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) in 1977, through which it got access to government funding and many favourable projects.
NBCC was listed on the Indian stock exchanges in 2012, on both the NSE and BSE, and was renamed as NBCC (India) Limited. It was granted Navratna status by the Government of India in 2014. The company has worked on more than 20 government redevelopment projects across India, including AIIMS and Sarojini Nagar in Delhi, and has also undertaken projects in several foreign countries like Libya, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Nepal, Botswana, and others. NBCC has been executing many landmark projects as a Project Management Consultant (PMC), which contributes to about 90% of its annual revenue.
