About Navin Fluorine International Ltd
In 2016, NFIL formed a joint venture with Piramal Enterprises Limited (PEL) and subsequently formed Convergence Chemicals Private Limited (CCPL) to leverage the company's expertise in fluorine chemistry and PEL's deep outreach in the healthcare sector. During the same year, NFIL also entered into an agreement with Honeywell to manufacture the next-generation refrigerant gas HFO1234yf, replacing HCFC 23, as a drop-in replacement for R134a. To ensure a good working environment, NFIL has set strict environmental and safety standards in their workplaces.
In the year of 2019-20, NFIL started new operations such as cGMP3 at their Dewas site, established a 100% subsidiary in UK, and increased their presence in Europe. As a result, NFIL increased their customer pipeline, diversified product portfolio away from 23 compounds, and invested into a greenfield expansion in Dahej. Last year, they also invested ₹11,500 lakhs for creating additional cGMP capacity and ₹19,500 lakhs for setting up of a multipurpose plant. In 2021, NFIL is continuing to widen its capabilities and advance their knowledge in the fluoro chemicals space by completing various projects including investing ₹75 crores to enhance and debottleneck their manufacturing capacity, ₹78.65 crores for infrastructure
