About Mega Flex Plastics Ltd

Mega Flex Plastics is a renowned integrated producer of packaging solutions for fruits and vegetables. It was founded in 2003 by Late Anup Chand Sethia and his son Rakesh Sethia who had decades of rich experience in the plastic processing and packaging industry. With a vision to empower the Indian rural sector with packaging solutions, the company acquired 2.095 acres of land in Howrah Poly Park from the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation in 2006 and started a manufacturing facility the following year. In 2007 they installed 27 looms for PP Leno Bags (the main product) and the Extrusion Tape Line, increasing production capacity to 22.61million bags annually. Business expanded steadily thereafter, reaching 40 million bags in 2013-14. Subsequently, additional looms of production were purchased and the company achieved an impressive 50 million bags in 2017-18 with a capacity of 51. 30 million bags per year in 2020, making Mega Flex Plastics a leader in the industry. The company exports Leno Bags to European countries and provides innovative packaging solutions for farmers. This packaging revolutionized the way vegetables were packed, proving to be a boon for farmers with its cost-effectiveness, lightness, and low produce wastage.
