About Kobo Biotech Ltd

Avon Organics, a company set-up by P.R. Agarwal Rajesh Agarwal and G.S. Sidhu and incorporated in August 1993, specializes in manufacturing diketene & its derivatives like Monomethyl Acetoncetamide (MMA) and Methyl Acetoacetate (MAA). The company’s 1200 TPA Diketene manufacturing facility is based in Andhra Pradesh and its products have application in pigments, pharmaceuticals and pesticides. The company has technical knowhow agreement agreements in place with Shanghai Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation, Xytel Technologies Partnership USA and Shanghai Peng Pu Chemical works. It has also been awarded Best New Product manufactured in the State of Andhra Pradesh by the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry and certified ISO 9002 by ANSIRAB. In addition to this, Avon Organics is also involved in Biotechnology and has a plant in Solapur, Maharashtra with an installed capacity of 150 MT. It has signed long term export contracts of Pseudoephedrine, gotten FDA approval and is about to introduce two new high value added intermediates in its Diketene division. All said, it is expected to add an additional turnover of Rs. 12 crores in 200506.
