About KKV Agro Powers Ltd

KKV Agro Powers Limited was incorporated in Coimbatore, India as Nachas Wind Energy Private Limited in June 2012 and later converted into a public limited company with the name change to KKV Agro Powers Limited in 2015. The company is an independent power producer (IPP) and renewable energy generation (RPG) company and has an installation capacity of 10.6 MW of wind and solar power. Additionally, the company is trading in renewable energy credits generated from its plants at IEX and PXIL with the help of TATA Power Trading Company Limited. To enhance their performance, the company has adapted advanced technology from across the world and has included two new divisions under their roof - purification of precious metals and agriculture. In the upcoming year, KKV is planning to commission a new solar plant which will add an additional 2 MW to their operating portfolio. Their objectives are to become a leading independent renewable energy producer, increase efficiency and tap into capital markets for fund raising. In 2018-19, the company issued and allotted 90700 Fully Paid Bonus Equity Shares of Rs 10/ each.
