About Kamadgiri Fashion Ltd

Kamadgiri Synthetics KSL, founded in February 1987, is a private limited company promoted by P K Goenka. It operates in three segments: manufacturing of synthetic fabrics, blended yarns, and rental services. The company's Umbergaon, Gujarat unit is equipped with state of the art woven shuttles with an installed capacity of 21 lac mtrs annually. KSL went public in November 1993 to finance the increase of woven capacity to 29 lac mtrs and setting up a spinning unit with 360 tpa. The raw material required by the company are texturised polyester yarn and polyester viscose spun yarn. The products are sold to well known brands like Siyaram, Grasim Industries, etc. wherein 50% of the yarn is used captively and the other half is sold in the domestic market. Export markets include India, Egypt, Indonesia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Colombia, Lebanon, U.A.E, Bangladesh, Jordan, and Singapore. KSL has been granted Export House Status by the Ministry of Commerce for a three-year period from April 1996 to March 1999. The company has taken an innovative product mix, design blended fabrics, better product line, cost reduction, economies of scale, which is expected to bring in better turnover and profitability. The brand new KSLTRUE Value, introduced to the market, offers Ultrafine quality suitings made of Viscose Polyester blend fibre.
