About Just Dial Ltd

Just Dial Limited is a pioneer in the panIndia search business, having been established in 1993. Their business model revolves around providing local search and search-related services and software to multiple platforms such as the internet, PC website, mobile internet, voice, and text SMS. MSMEs listed on Just Dial benefit from the visibility on its platform, especially due to the launch of the JD Social platform. The company has 3972 telesales employees, 1480 feetonstreet marketing personnel, and 3924 JD Ambassadors. In 2013 Just Dial had an Initial Public Offering at Rs 530 per share, and in 2016, it bought back 10,614,999 shares. In 2017, Just Dial underwent a demerger, and in 2018, it issued and allotted 1,125,068 preference shares. In 2019, Just Dial purchased 2,750,000 shares and their operation have been impacted due to COVID-19. They have acquired 100 shares of MYJD Private Limited, relaunched the mobile platform, and engaged Bollywood Superstar Ranveer Singh as Brand Ambassador. Finally, on April 2021 they introduced a new B2B platform called JD Mart.
