About Gallantt Ispat Ltd.

Gallantt Metal Ltd., a member of the Gallantt Group family, produces iron, steel and power in India. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of steel and steel products along with a power plant and has an investment of Rs. 220 crores on a site 122 acres big in Kutch, Gujarat. It operates in two segments: Steel and Power and produces products such as Sponge Iron, M.S. Billets, Re-Rolled Products, TMT Bars, and M.S. Bars. The company was founded in February 2005 in Kolkata. In December 2005, they started their Phase I commercial operations and in March 2007, the Phase II project was commissioned, i.e. the 25MW Captive Power Plant. Since 2009-10 they have taken many strategic decisions to increase their volume and profitability, and have expanded market in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. They have also acquired 106 acres of land in Koppal, Karnataka for their expansion plans. The National Company Law Tribunal Kolkata and New Delhi also passed orders in 2021 and 2022 respectively for the amalgamation of slip sale of the 18 MW power plant of Gallantt Ispat Limited to Gallantt Metal Limited followed by the amalgamation of Gallantt Ispat Limited along with other companies and shareholders/creditors. The company further invested Rs. 1.80 crores to make Gallantt Metalliks Limited a wholly owned subsidiary, effective from May 10, 2022.
