About Everest Organics Ltd

Everest Organics was established in Hyderabad, India in February 1993 to produce bulk drugs and formulations. It held a public issue in January 1995 for the financing of its project. Commercial production of Ciprofloxacin and Omeprazole commenced in February 1996 and Everest Organics decided to increase the capacity of Ciprofloxacin from 30 tonnes a year to 120 tonnes a year and also to produce Enrofloxacin/Naproxen. The company have also expanded their installed capacity of Benzimidazole to 120 tonnes annually and the installed capacity of Omeprazole Op Sulphide was increased from 15 to 30 tonnes a year. By increasing their production capabilities, Everest Organics aims to be a major supplier of pharmaceuticals across India.
