About DE Nora India Ltd

Titanor Components TCL was incorporated in 1989 and is managed by chairman Franco Ladavas. It has a technical-cum-financial collaboration with Oronzio De Nora group Italy that holds 40% stake and manufactures coated metal electrodes, water electrolysers, electrochlorinators, and cathodic protection systems. In 1995-96, the company shut down one of its plants at Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, as part of its cost reduction exercise. It has been entrusted to handle cathodic protection business in Far East and Australia by its collaborator and is in the process of preparing documentation for ISO 9002 certification. The company launched new marketing strategies for its new products in 1999-2000, the effects of which are expected to be felt in the upcoming years. The recessionary trend in the chlor-alkali industry continued in 2000-01, however it is showing signs of improvement now. Titanor Components has a technical collaboration with M/s Oronzio De Nora International B.V. The Netherlands and M/s Oronzio De Nora S.A. Switzerland for Electrolysers, water treatment, and cathodic protection systems. Adopting their technology, the company now offers five standard models - Seaclor Mac50, Seaclor Mac100, Seaclor Mac500, Seaclor Mac1000, and Seaclor Mac2000, and Lida Anodes. With its cost-effective solutions and technology development, the company is expected to show better performance in the next financial year.
