About Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd

Caplin Point Laboratories Limited was founded in the year 1990 and is a fully integrated transnational pharmaceutical company. With over 4000 product registrations covering 36 therapeutic segments, the company has set up its presence in 23 countries. It specializes in producing and marketing of wide range of generic formulations and branded products and exporting them to markets like the US, European Union, Africa, LATAM and others. The company has also established a trading branch in Nairobi Kenya and a warehouse in Miami USA in collaboration with Lockett Corp. It completed splitting its shares in 2016 from Rs. 10 to Rs. 2 each. As on date, the company has three subsidiaries in India, Hong Kong and Colombia. It invested in Argus Salud Pharma LLP and set up a Joint venture in China. It also ventured into the ecommerce space. In the year 2021, the company has already received four ANDA approvals and 8 product launches. It has planned to file more 18 ANDAs with an addressable market size of USD 1.95 billion and is investing a sum of Rs. 140 crores in setting up its second Injectable Plant with 2 Vial lines, a Lyophilizer line and a Pre filled syringe line.
