About Bodal Chemicals Ltd

Dintex Dyechem is a public limited company established in 1986 in Vatwa, Gujarat to produce dyes and dye intermediates. In 1993, the company diversified and capacity was increased to manufacture vinyl sulphone and reactive dyes (1800 tpa and 600 tpa, respectively). In 1994, acetyl sulphonyl chloride and sulpholemide were also introduced, with an original installed capacity of 50 tpm, which was increased to 100 tpm in 1995. The company launched 70 new dyes in domestic market in 2001-2002 and is expecting a profitable return in the future. To finance the diversification project, the company came out with public issue in August 1993.
