About BGR Energy Systems Ltd

BGR Energy Systems Ltd is a leading Indian engineering company working in the power sector. With seven complementary business, the company operates in two main segments: Supply of systems and equipment and turnkey engineering project contracting. From 1985 when the company was founded as GEA Energie Systems India Pvt ltd it has taken over many large scale projects. They have secured their first engineering, procurement and construction contract for 120 MW gas based combined cycle power plant in Karupput in 2003; a 330 MW project in 2007 and a 95 MW project in 2011. They have also signed contracts with Hitachi Ltd, and NTPC and secured their first overseas contract in 2013. In 2014, the company secured contracts of Rs 300 crore and also secured new contracts worth Rs 250 crore during the year.
