About Arman Financial Services Ltd

Arman Financial Services Limited offers a wide range of fund and non-fund based financial services to rural, semi-urban and urban areas. Established in 1992, the public limited company issued 2800000 Equity shares of Rs. 10 each and was oversubscribed by 7 times for small investors and more than 22 times in the case of applicants with applications of more than 1000 shares. Based in Ahmedabad, the company provides services such as two/three wheeler financing, intercorporate deposits, micro financing and personal financing. In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010, the asset-backed microfinance segment had 5315 active borrowers and a portfolio worth of around Rs. 2.9 billion. The loans are small in size, easily repayable by borrowers, and they could qualify for higher loans if they repay the first loan. There are no brokers in micro finance and all loans have a collective liability.
