About Archidply Industries Ltd

Archidply Industries Limited was incorporated in 1995 as ATP Silvi Products Limited with the aim of raising tree plantations on wasteland. In June 2005, the company received a recommendation from the Central Empowerment Committee to get a licence for the manufacture of plywood and particleboard in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. In March 2007, the company changed its name to Archidply Industries Limited; this was due to the acquisition of The Mysore Chipboards Limited TMCL which had two manufacturing divisions – plywood and blockboard, and particle and laminated board. These divisions were closed for 7 years until 1995 when ATP Silvi successfully revived and marketed them under the trademark and label Archidply. Similarly, in 2000 Assam Timber Products Private Limited transferred all its rights in the mark Archidply to The Mysore Chipboards Limited. Subsequently, in April 2005, the Manufacturing Divisions from TMCL were demerged and merged with ATP Silvi Products Limited. All assets and liabilities of the Manufacturing Divisions, including the Archidply trademark were transferred to the company.
