About AKI India Ltd

AKI India Limited is a leading manufacturer and exporter of leather and leather products. Established in 1994, the company originally focused on manufacturing and exporting leather saddlery items. After successful running of this business for 13 years, the company expanded its operations into leather shoe manufacturing and export. It also went for a backward integration in 2010 to set up a modern tannery. Presently, the company is engaged in diverse activities such as producing and exporting saddlery products, leather shoes and trading of leather chemicals domestically. Over the years, it has adapted to the changing economic scenario, consumer preferences, and technology innovations. The company deals in all kinds of footwears and leather accessories and operates two distinct business verticals - retail and distribution. It has been certified by ISO 9001:2008 for the design and manufacture of leather products for equestrian sports, horse covers, leather footwear and finished leather.
