Hindustan Copper is expanding its mining operations to meet rising demand for metals in clean energy. The company plans to increase ore production to 12 million tonnes by FY31 and has secured clearances for Rakha and Kendadih mines. A 30-year revenue-sharing agreement with JSW-owned South West Mining will develop the Rakha mine with an investment of Rs 2,700 crore.
